Was great my food was very good. I normally ask for Bridget or Ernus both of which give great service so much I feel compelled to tip them above normal. The Manager seems very “chill” have not spoken to her much other then when complimenting their service.
Stop by Olive Garden and ask for Roberta! You're guaranteed great service! The evening staff are on point. The daytime staff are hit and miss, but the evening crew is more friendly, attentive, engaged, colorful and service focused. I enjoy my visits there but the evening crew always exceeded expectations compared to my day visits. I conduct business meetings and also use it as a local dining establishment: so my perspective is balanced. I truly don't go for the food as much as I enjoy the team.
My cousin and I visited Olive Garden on 10/21 for lunch. We tried to order the shrimp scampi dish (minus the shrimp - we don't eat meat/seafood). We simply wanted the angel hair pasta and extra veggies (tomatoes, peppers, asparagus) since we weren't getting the shrimp....advertised price was 15.99. Felicia R, waitress, tells us that we wanted to get angel hair pasta from the pasta menu ($9.99) and she could add sautéed veggies with olive oil. We agreed, that would work. My cousin and I both order the same. When the bill arrives it's $44.62 + tax ($47.30). While we enjoyed the meal (noting the service is always incredible slow and at this location, we just accepted it) we did not take note of the price difference until later in the day. After reviewing the receipt, Felicia R charged us separately for each and every veggie topping added to the pasta without communicating that tidbit before hand. Had we known before hand, we would have stuck with ordering the shrimp scampi, minus the shrimp which would have been 15.99 and not 22.3. The Olive Garden website indicates customers can make alterations to any dish as they are made to order and extra veggies can be substituted for meat. So why are we paying 6.32 extra for each dish just because we wanted veggies??? It's frustrating when employees take advantage of customers and don't communicate. Had we known she was going to railroad us, we would not have left the 20+% tip as it was not deserved. It took her 12 minutes just to bring back the change from the bill. #sad Olive Garden while the food is great, you must do better with communication and service.
The menu looks great if I ever actually get to eat any of it the same 20 people ahead of us haven't moved out of their chairs I haven't seen anybody get seated in the last 45 minutes, oh we were told it would be a maximum 30 minute wait
Restaurant was well lit, clean, & the server (Malia) was well groomed & very very nice. Service was very nice. Didn't have to wait long at all for our food.
